Sven Sakkov Has Been Appointed as a New ICDS Director

ICDS Supervisory Board has appointed Sven Sakkov, who at the moment is leading the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence in Tallinn, as a new ICDS director, starting from 1 September 2017.

According to Jonathan Vseviov, chairman of the ICDS Supervisory Board, Sakkov must further develop the centre's achievements.

Previously, Sakkov has worked as the Undersecretary of Defence Policy and the Head of the Policy Planning Department at the Estonian Ministry of Defence, also as a Defence Counsel at the Estonian Embassy in Washington, at the Permanent Representation of Estonia to NATO and the President's Office.
