On September 17, the International Centre for Defence Studies organised a seminar titled “Nuclear Iran: Inevitable or Avoidable? Strategic Options and Their Implications.”
The following speakers contributed to the discussion and answered to the questions of seminar participants:
Brig. Gen. (ret.) Shlomo Brom, a Senior Research Associate at the Institute for National Security Studies in Israel, which he joined after a long career in the Israeli Defence Forces, where his most senior post was Director of the Strategic Planning Division in the Planning Branch of the General Staff; Dr. Stephen E. “Wilbur” Wright, Professor of Political Science at the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies of the Air University (Maxwell, Alabama) and a retired colonel of the United States Air Force; and Mr. Miles Pomper, a Senior Research Associate at the James Martin Centre for Non-proliferation Studies in Washington D.C. and a former Editor-in-Chief of Arms Control Today. The seminar was moderated by Dr. Erik Männik, an ICDS Senior Researcher.
