On September 5-6, ICDS Director Bryza joined Ambassador Wolfgang Petritsch, the first High Representative to Bosnia-Herzegovina, as the keynote speakers for a conference at the George C. Marshall Center in Garmisch, Germany, on lessons of conflict management from the international community's experience in the Balkans and South Caucasus. The conference aimed to lay the foundation for a new course at the Marshall Center on crisis and conflict management.
